Combat-ready: Azerbaijani Army nails all objectives in live-fire war drills VIDEO

As part of its 2025 training program, the Separate Combined Arms Army carried out a series of command and staff exercises aimed at enhancing operational readiness and coordination under combat conditions.

The exercises were conducted in accordance with the annual training schedule approved by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as Caliber.Az learned from the ministry.

In response to an “Alarm” signal, the involved military units were rapidly mobilised and deployed to the designated training zones. During this phase, their manoeuvring capabilities were assessed in detail, and particular emphasis was placed on evaluating the command and control skills of officers and headquarters personnel in a dynamic operational environment.

The drills were carried out under conditions designed to closely replicate real battlefield scenarios. Throughout the exercise, Azerbaijani units used precision fire to effectively destroy targets representing an opposing force. The use of live ammunition and realistic simulations underscored the focus on combat preparedness and tactical effectiveness.

According to the Ministry of Defence, all tasks assigned during the command and staff exercises were successfully completed. The training was deemed a success in both planning and execution, further reinforcing the army’s ability to respond quickly and efficiently to potential threats.
