UN official praises Azerbaijan’s role in hosting WUF13 PHOTO
The United Nations Deputy Secretary-General’s office for coordination of development operations in Europe and Central Asia has praised Azerbaijan’s successful hosting of the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku and its engagement in global multilateral initiatives.
In a post on X, Gwi-Yeop Son said she met with senior Azerbaijani officials, Presidential Aide Hikmet Hajiyev and Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev, and highlighted the country’s efforts to link urban development with climate resilience and the legacy of COP29, Caliber.Az reports.
