Azerbaijani PM thanks CIS countries for participation in WUF13
Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov has expressed gratitude to CIS member states for their active participation in the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), which concluded in Baku, according to remarks made at a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of Government in Ashgabat.
“I would like to note that today in Baku, the 13th session of the World Urban Forum concludes-one of the largest international platforms on sustainable development, urbanisation, and improving quality of life,” the prime minister said, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
He said the forum, held under the auspices of the United Nations, brought together more than 40,000 participants from 182 countries, who discussed global challenges including the housing crisis, sustainable urban development, climate resilience, and post-crisis recovery.
"On this occasion, I would like to express my gratitude to the representatives of CIS member states for their active participation in the World Urban Forum," he noted.
