Kazakh military education delegation visits Azerbaijan for defence cooperation talks PHOTO

A delegation led by Major General Baurzhan Abzhanov has arrived in Azerbaijan for an official visit focused on military education and defence cooperation.

According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defence, the delegation was received by Major General Gunduz Abdulov at the country’s National Defence University, Caliber.Az reports. 

During the meeting, Azerbaijani officials briefed the visitors on the university’s history, educational system, and main areas of activity. The delegation was also informed about ongoing reforms in Azerbaijan’s military education sector and the results achieved through those changes.

Officials highlighted the importance of exchanging experience and expertise to improve the professional knowledge and skills of military personnel.

As part of the visit, the Kazakh delegation toured the Military Games Centre, the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute, and the Jamshid Nakhchivani Military Lyceum, where they familiarised themselves with training facilities and educational infrastructure.

The delegation also visited the Victory Museum, where they received information about Azerbaijan’s military history and the significance of the country’s victory in the Second Karabakh War.
