Death toll from Dagestan terrorist attack rises to 20

As many as 20 people were killed and 46 were injured as a result of armed attacks in the Dagestan Republic, Russia.

The remarks came from the head of the regional Health Ministry Tatyana Belyayeva, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry's press service.

"As a result of yesterday's [June 23] terrorist attack in the republic in Makhachkala and Derbent, 46 people were injured, among whom there are both civilians and law enforcement officers. Unfortunately, 20 people were killed, among them there are also law enforcement officers and civilians," the statement said.
