Defence chief: Ankara stands for cooperation with Erbil in anti-terror fight
Türkiye and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) intend to expand cooperation in the fight against terrorism and achieve results in this direction.
Turkish National Defence Minister Yashar Guler made the statement while commenting on the visit to KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani's visit to Ankara, Anadolu reports.
The minister expressed confidence that the meeting of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan with the head of the regional administration held on June 20 will affect the effectiveness of the coordination of the fight against terrorism in the region.
"There will definitely be a result. We will improve cooperation, which will ultimately give positive results," Guler said.
He added that Türkiye continues to fight terrorism with the same determination and perseverance.
