EBRD plans to increase number of partner banks in Azerbaijan

Chair of the Small Business Investment Committee of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Andrew McDonald has said that the Bank is currently working to expand the number of partner banks in Azerbaijan.

“Banks are of crucial importance for us to reach out to the local economy because they give us more partners and then we can reach out to more companies, which provides a larger scale of impact. So leveraging those relationships and increasing the amount of work that we do in the consulting business will complement it and allow companies to see the benefits of doing it,” McDonald said in his remarks on the sidelines of the Small Business and Entrepreneurship (SME) World Forum held in Baku,Caliber.Az reports citing Trend.
