Hungary aims to participate in restoration projects in Karabakh.

Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Tamas Josef Torman made the remarks at an event on the occasion of the National Day of Hungary and the 30th anniversary of the country's diplomatic relations with Azerbaijan on October 12, Trend reports.

According to him, Hungarian companies can participate in the restoration of infrastructure, as well as demining of liberated Azerbaijani lands. Hungary can also provide its expertise in the agricultural sector.

“Hungary achieved its independence 66 years ago. Freedom, independence and sovereignty are what we value the most, what we base our policy on with foreign countries. This year is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations [with Azerbaijan], and I want to note that Hungary always supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan,” the ambassador added.
