Envoy: Turkish president to visit Azerbaijan in two weeks

The Turkish Ambassador to Baku, Cahit Bagci, has said that President Erdogan's visit to Azerbaijan will coincide with the opening of an airport in East Zangazur.

"The visit of Türkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Azerbaijan in relation to the opening of the Zangilan Airport is expected within the next two weeks," the Baku-based APA news agency quoted Bagci as saying on October 3.

He went on to say that preparations for the airport’s launch are currently in their final stages, and technical test flights are being held.
