Kazakh FM hails Azerbaijan’s diplomatic gains, backs regional peace initiatives
On August 14, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Kazakh counterpart, Murat Nurtleu, held a telephone conversation to discuss avenues for deepening bilateral cooperation and reaffirm their commitment to strategic partnership.
During the call, Minister Nurtleu extended his congratulations to the Azerbaijani side on the recent diplomatic milestones achieved in Washington, including agreements between Azerbaijan and the United States, as well as the significant progress made in normalising relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry told Caliber.Az.
He emphasised the importance of the signed documents in promoting lasting peace and regional stability.
Both ministers praised the current level of Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan strategic relations, noting that high-level contacts and mutual visits continue to play a pivotal role in advancing bilateral cooperation. They underscored the value of sustained political dialogue in reinforcing the fraternal ties between the two nations, which share deep historical, cultural, and economic bonds.
The sides noted the significance of further deepening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan within regional and international organizations and exchanged views on preparations for upcoming high-level events scheduled in the coming months.
