Erdogan: Trilateral coop with Azerbaijan crucial for Turkmen worldwide gas exports
Tripartite cooperation with Azerbaijan is important for the export of Turkmen gas to world markets.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the statement at a joint press conference with his Turkmen counterpart Serdar Berdimuhamedov in Ankara, APA reports.
He noted that the three countries are keen to contribute to energy security within the framework of this cooperation.
It should be noted that President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in Türkiye on October 25.
During his visit, President Berdimuhamedov met Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the sides exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues, as well as current events.
The two countries have huge and positive experience of large-scale cooperation.
The two fraternal countries and peoples who share a common history, language, religion and culture have special relations based on balanced mutual respect and cooperation proceeding from the “one nation, two states” principle. Türkiye and Turkmenistan also cooperate in many spheres, including foreign policy, trade, economics, culture and education.
