A farewell ceremony was held in the western Azerbaijani district of Tovuz with a serviceman of the Azerbaijani army, Eshgin Huseynov, who was martyred as a result of a provocation committed by illegal Armenian formations.

The ceremony is attended by the martyr's family members and relatives, representatives of the district executive authorities, law enforcement agencies, heads of departments and organisations and the village residents, Report informs.

At the end of the ceremony, the martyr will be buried in the cemetery of the Hunanlar village.

It should be noted that the martyr's brother is also a serviceman and continues his military service in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
