Federal Security Service: Everyone who commits crimes against Russia - legitimate target

Director of the Russian Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov has said that the Security Service of Ukraine should be recognised as a terrorist organisation.

Bortnikov also stressed that Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov is a legitimate target for the Russian Armed Forces, like everyone who “commits crimes against Russia”, Kommersant reports.

“Everyone who commits crimes against Russia and Russian citizens is a legitimate target,” he said while answering the question whether the head of the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate is a legitimate target for the Russian Federation.

When asked why Budanov was still alive, Bortnikov said that everything is ahead.
