Finnish tire manufacturer announces exit from Russia

Finnish tire manufacturer Nokian Tires is starting a controlled exit from the Russian market.

Due to the war in Ukraine and the tightening of sanctions, Nokian can no longer continue its activities in Russia, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the company's website. The company immediately begins preparations for the exit.

“In recent months, we have witnessed shocking events in Ukraine. We are following the situation with deep sadness and, together with the entire international community, unreservedly condemn the war that has caused untold suffering to so many people,” said Jukka Moisio, President and CEO of Nokian Tires.
