First day of Azerbaijani NGO cooperation forum concludes with visit to Gubadli
The first day of the Azerbaijani NGO Cooperation Forum concluded with a visit to Gubadli District, recently liberated from occupation.
Held at the Zangilan Congress Center, the forum was organized by the State Support Agency for NGOs and the National NGO Forum of Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Representatives from around 200 NGOs, media, and public figures participated.
During the forum, attendees visited the N military unit of the State Border Guard Service in Gubadli. They observed the ongoing infrastructure and construction work in both Zangilan and Gubadli and were briefed on preparations for the "Great Return." At the military unit, they attended an event celebrating Armed Forces Day on June 26 and enjoyed a concert by a military band.
Panel discussions covered topics such as "Azerbaijani NGOs: Results and Goals," "Environmental Consequences of Armenia's Mining Industry," and "COP29 and the Movement for a Green World." The forum, which spans two days, will continue tomorrow.
