07 August 2022 10:00
The departure of four grain-laden carriers is expected on Sunday, August 7, from three ports in Ukraine.
The Turkish National Defence Ministry made the statement on August 6, TASS reports.
"Four bulk carriers are expected to leave four ports of Ukraine tomorrow. One will leave Odesa, three will leave Chernomorsk, there are only four vessels," the ministry said in a statement.
It notes that the exit of bulk carriers became possible thanks to the "active contacts" of Turkish National Defence Minister Hulusi Akar with the Joint Coordination Centre (JCC).
The Turkish National Defence Ministry also announced the continuation of work on the export of grain from Ukraine.
