France tests intercontinental ballistic missile

French Defence Minister Sebastien Lecornu announced the successful testing of the new M51.3 intercontinental ballistic missile.

The ministry noted that on November 18 evening, a test launch of an M51.3 missile without a nuclear charge was successfully carried out.

“The first successful test launch of the M51.3 strategic ballistic missile,” Lecornu on the social network X.

He said the development perpetuates confidence in the French nuclear deterrent and demonstrates the excellence of the country's launch sector.
