Fresh wave of naval commandos joins Azerbaijani forces after graduation ceremony PHOTO/VIDEO
A graduation ceremony for a new group of naval commandos was held on May 3 at a military unit of the Azerbaijani Naval Forces.
As reported by the Ministry of Defence to Caliber.Az, the event took place at the N-unit of the Navy and brought together senior naval officials and servicemen.
Captain 1st Rank Shahin Mammadov, who is currently serving as the Acting Commander of the Azerbaijani Navy, addressed the gathering. He extended congratulations from the Ministry’s leadership to the graduates and wished them continued success in their military careers.
In his speech, Mammadov highlighted the sweeping reforms being carried out across the armed forces under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. He also underscored the Navy’s growing role and praised the heroic participation of naval personnel in the 44-day Patriotic War.
The ceremony concluded with the awarding of certificates to the graduates. Military personnel and instructors who distinguished themselves during the training received certificates of merit and valuable gifts in recognition of their performance.
