Azerbaijan to grant visa-free travel to South Korean citizens

Azerbaijan will soon announce the introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of South Korea, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The announcement was made in response to a media inquiry, Caliber.Az reports.

It was noted that on June 17, during a meeting with a delegation led by South Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Eui-hae Cecilia Chung, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the delegation of the decision to introduce a visa-free regime for holders of all types of passports of the Republic of Korea.

The move is expected to contribute to the expansion of cooperation in tourism and other sectors, as well as to strengthen people-to-people ties between the two countries.
