Georgian PM highlights close regional ties with Azerbaijan and neighbours
Georgia is taking all possible steps to deepen and expand its regional relations, the country’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, has stated.
Speaking during a debate on the Rustavi 2 television channel, he noted that Georgia currently maintains “unprecedentedly close ties” with countries in the region in both political and economic terms.
“These countries are Azerbaijan, Armenia and Türkiye. We are also deepening relations with Central Asian countries. We have a strategic partnership with China, which is also important from an economic point of view.
We have very close relations with Middle Eastern countries, and we must continue this policy. We need to preserve as much as possible the current positive trend,” Kobakhidze said.
