Great Return: Azerbaijan resettles 30 families in Jabrayil’s Horovlu village
Thirty families, comprising 115 people, have returned to Horovlu village in the Jabrayil District as part of the latest phase of Azerbaijan’s Great Return programme, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The relocation is being carried out in line with the instructions of Ilham Aliyev, aimed at ensuring the safe and sustainable return of citizens to the territories liberated from occupation.
The families had previously been temporarily accommodated in various regions across the country, primarily in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.
The returning residents expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the comprehensive state support provided to them.
They also conveyed their appreciation to the Azerbaijani Army for liberating the country’s territories and honoured the memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in restoring Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.
Earlier, on January 28, 2026, another group of families under the current phase of Azerbaijan’s Great Return programme was resettled in Horovlu village in the Jabrayil District.
