"During the operation carried out in Adana against an organized criminal group led by A.A., 17 suspects were detained. Twelve of them have been arrested, judicial control was imposed on one, and investigations are ongoing against four others," Yerlikaya stated.
This latest operation follows Hücre-15, which took place on March 3 across 54 provinces, targeting individuals and organizations involved in financial crimes.
According to Yerlikaya, Hücre-15 resulted in the detention of 334 suspects, of whom 123 were arrested, while four were placed under judicial control.
Authorities also seized unregistered weapons, large quantities of checks, promissory notes, and digital materials linked to financial crimes.
Türkiye’s Interior Ministry continues to intensify its fight against organized crime, using large-scale, intelligence-driven operations to dismantle illegal networks.
