IDF says it struck Hamas weapons sites in Gaza, destroying storage facilities VIDEO
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it carried out overnight strikes in the central Gaza Strip on June 12, targeting and dismantling three Hamas weapons storage facilities.
In a statement, the IDF said the sites contained launchers, mortar shells, rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), explosive devices, firearms, and other military equipment. It added that the weapons were intended for use against Israeli troops operating in the so-called “Yellow Line” area as well as against civilians in Israel, Caliber.Az reports.

The military said the facilities were destroyed in order to eliminate what it described as an immediate threat.
According to the IDF, precautions were taken ahead of the strikes to reduce harm to civilians, including the use of precision-guided munitions and aerial surveillance.
The IDF also said that troops under its Southern Command remain deployed in the area in line with the ceasefire agreement and will continue operations aimed at removing immediate threats on the ground.
