Iran dismisses rumors of negotiations, vows resistance against US
Iran’s parliamentary deputy speaker, Ali Nikzad, affirmed that decisions regarding war, peace, or negotiations rest exclusively with the country’s Supreme Leader, who has not authorized any discussions with the United States, Fararu reports.
Representing the cities of Ardabil, Namin, Nir, and Sareyn in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Nikzad addressed recent US claims of alleged negotiations with Iran:
“Negotiations will never take place. We will not spare Trump until we avenge the blood of the leader of Muslims worldwide. This was the gravest conspiracy against Iran, but they will never achieve their devious goals. The Strait of Hormuz will never be opened, there have been no negotiations and there will be none. War, peace, and negotiations are the prerogative of the Supreme Leader,” he stated.
Nikzad also dismissed reports linking Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf to any negotiations, emphasizing the constitutional authority of the Supreme Leader:
“Under Article 110, Clause 5 of the Constitution, war, peace, or any decision on negotiations is under the Supreme Leader’s authority, and no permission for talks has been granted. America and the Zionist regime know only how to kill, and that has always been the case. Iran is the front of truth, and it will prevail because this is God’s promise. The eyes of the free people of the world and the resistance front are upon us to ensure our victory,” Nikzad added.
