Iran ready to provide treatment to Armenians disabled in 2020 Karabakh war
Iran is ready to share best practices and provide rehabilitation services to Armenian citizens disabled during the 2020 Second Karabakh War.
The statement came from Iranian Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Seyyed Sultan Mortazavi at a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Narek Mkrtchyan on February 27 in Yerevan, Caliber.Az reports, quoting Armenian media.
According to the Iranian minister, the two countries have developed close and effective cooperation, especially in recent years.
The press service of the Armenian Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs said that Mortazavi described the development of cooperation with neighbouring states, particularly Armenia, as one of the main priorities of Tehran's policy.
"We attach great importance to the coordination of social protection efforts between the two countries. We are ready to invest our country's potential and capabilities so that there is peace and stability in the Caucasus," Mortazavi said.
