Israel conducts strike in southern Lebanon, killing militant

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that it had carried out a strike in southern Lebanon on February 12, killing a militant involved in efforts to rebuild Hezbollah infrastructure.

In a statement, the IDF said the individual had taken part in attempts to reestablish “Hezbollah terror infrastructure” in the At-Tiri area, Caliber.Az reports.

It added that the alleged activities constituted a violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

The Israeli military said it would “continue to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel.”
