Israel neutralises Hezbollah operative in southern Lebanon
On October 31, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), with support from the Israeli Air Force (IAF), carried out an operation in southern Lebanon, targeting and eliminating a Hezbollah militant from the Radwan forces in the Nabatieh region.
The IDF confirmed the operation in a statement released by its army press service, as reported by Caliber.Az.
According to the statement, the neutralised militant had been involved in planning and executing multiple attacks against Israel and was actively engaged in restoring Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in the area.
On the same day, the IDF conducted a targeted drone strike in the town of Kounine, southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of another Hezbollah operative. The individual was identified as Ibrahim Muhammad Raslan, a technical officer responsible for maintaining and reconstructing the organisation’s military infrastructure in the region.
“A short while ago, the IDF struck and eliminated the terrorist Ibrahim Muhammad Raslan, a Hezbollah maintenance officer, in the Kounine area in southern Lebanon. The terrorist operated to reestablish Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites. Their activities constituted a threat to the State of Israel and its civilians, and a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel,” the military statement said.
