Israel strikes dozens of Hezbollah targets during some hours
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced that Air Force struck dozens of targets belonging to the Shiite movement Hezbollah in Lebanon over the past few hours.
"The Israel Defense Forces continue striking at terrorist targets belonging to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Over the past few hours, the Israeli Air Force has targeted dozens of Hezbollah sites in Lebanon, including launchers aimed at Israel, weapon depots, and other terrorist infrastructure," the statement reads, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
The IDF noted that Israeli forces have hit "hundreds of Hezbollah terrorist targets across Lebanon in the past day."
Israel launched extensive airstrikes on Hezbollah military targets in Lebanon as part of Operation "Northern Strikes" on September 23.
On September 27, Hassan Nasrallah, the group's secretary-general, was killed in Beirut, a fact confirmed by Hezbollah on September 28.
Additionally, ABC reported on September 28, citing sources, that Israel plans to conduct a limited ground operation in Lebanon.
