Issues of enclaves not on agenda of Armenia-Azerbaijan talks
The issue of enclaves was not on the agenda of negotiations with Baku.
The remarks came from the Head of the Armenian Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, in a press briefing after the government meeting on Thursday, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.
According to Grigoryan, the opposition in Armenia makes regular ungrounded statements on these issues, which are far from reality.
“Until now, the issue of enclaves has not been raised. We can say that there are enclaves on both sides and their territory is approximately the same. Both sides are silent on this issue, it has not yet been discussed. A possible solution is that the Armenian enclave remains in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani ones remain in Armenia,” Grigoryan said.
He added that there are many questions about how these enclaves have been formed.
