Istanbul bridges light up in Azerbaijani colours PHOTO
On the occasion of May 28, the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the bridges, one of the symbols of the Turkish city of Istanbul, connecting Europe and Asia, are illuminated with the colours of the Azerbaijani flag.
The event was held on the initiative of the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, Report informs, citing the X page of Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu.
"Istanbul, shrouded in the colours of the Azerbaijani flag, looks even more beautiful today. The bridges of Fatih Sultan Mehmet, Yavuz Sultan Selim and the 15 July Martyrs Bridge were painted in the colours of Azerbaijan. Happy Azerbaijan Independence Day".
