Kazakhstan tests OTOKAR Tulpar, ARMA with BMP-3 turret PHOTO

Tulpar-tracked infantry fighting vehicles with BMP-3 turrets and ARMA 8x8 armoured personnel carriers have been shown off in Kazakhstan.
The Tulpar armoured infantry fighting vehicle has been successfully tested in Kazakhstan. It was equipped with a turret from the Russian BMP-3, according to Defence Turk.
The armament includes a 100-mm rifled cannon and a 30x165-mm automatic gun.
BMP Tulpar (its name means winged horse from the famous epic Manas) has a weight class of "30 tonnes" and has a modular armour design. Depending on the selected armour package the combat weight of the vehicle can be 25, 35 or 40 tonnes. The vehicle has a capacity of three crew members and eight paratroopers.
