Korean conductor to make debut performance in Azerbaijan Featuring iconic composers
World-renowned Korean conductor Jong-hun Bae will make his debut performance at the Azerbaijan State Academic Philharmonic Hall named after Muslim Magomayev.
Bae will conduct the Azerbaijan State Chamber Orchestra named after Q. Qarayev, showcasing exceptional works by Azerbaijani and Russian composers that are sure to captivate the audience’s hearts, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Recognized for his extraordinary musical mastery, Jong-hun Bae not only is celebrated in his home country but also on prominent stages across Asia, Europe, and North America.
The maestro has worked with renowned orchestras such as the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra, the Leipzig Symphony Orchestra.
Jong-hun Bae is famous for revitalizing classical repertoires, showcasing contemporary works by living composers, and captivating audiences with his dynamic stage presence.
His conducting career has taken him to prestigious orchestras across Asia, Europe, and North America, including the Orchestra Simfonica a Filarmonicii “Mihail Jora”, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Aurora Symphony, Gwinnett Symphony Chamber Orchestra, Utah Philharmonia, Utah Lyric Opera, Peabody Chamber Opera, and Utah Youth Orchestras & Ensembles. He has also performed at renowned venues globally, further solidifying his reputation as a distinguished conductor.
