Kremlin: No indications Zelenskyy ready to engage on Trump peace plan
Moscow has not yet received any information that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is willing to negotiate on US leader Donald Trump’s peace proposal.
After interviewing Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, journalist Alexander Yunashev wrote on his Telegram channel that Moscow has not yet been informed of Zelenskyy’s agreement to hold talks on Trump’s peace plan, Caliber.Az reports.
On November 20, Axios reported that during a meeting with US Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll, Zelenskyy stated he was ready to work with the Trump administration on a new peace plan.
According to the outlet, Zelenskyy and Driscoll agreed to sign the document within a “short timeframe.”
Shortly after, The Financial Times (FT) reported that the Ukrainian president would sign the peace agreement before Thanksgiving, which falls on November 27 this year, the next Thursday.
