Kremlin: Russian, Armenian leaders to talk on margins of events in St. Petersburg
Russian President Vladimir Putin will be able to communicate with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan "on the margins" of the informal CIS summit and the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in St. Petersburg.
"They will have a great opportunity to talk on the sidelines, "on the margins" of the upcoming events," Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Interfax while answering the relevant question at a briefing.
Putin will work in St. Petersburg on December 25-26, where he will take part in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and then in an informal CIS summit.
The meeting of the EAEU heads of state will summarize the results of the Russian presidency in the association and discuss promising areas of integration processes.
Following the summit it is planned to adopt a number of documents, including a declaration on the further development of the Eurasian Economic Union until 2030 and for the period until 2045.
