Lebanon strikes toll hits over 3,200 as Israeli bombardment intensifies
The death toll in Lebanon from Israeli airstrikes has risen to 3,243, with 14,134 injured since the beginning of the Israeli bombardments.
According to a statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health's Emergency Centre, 54 people were killed and 56 others wounded in the past 24 hours as a result of ongoing airstrikes across various regions of Lebanon, Caliber.Az reports per Arab media.
On November 11, Israeli forces continued their attacks on Lebanese towns and villages across the south, Bekaa, and north, inflicting further damage and casualties. In the latest wave of airstrikes in the southern region, Israeli warplanes targeted Saksakiyye in the Saida district, killing seven civilians and injuring another seven.
At the same time, Israeli jets launched missile strikes on Debbin in the Marjaayoun district, and artillery shelling hit Shebaa. The town of Yater also suffered an airstrike that destroyed a house, while Burj Qalaway was targeted by artillery near the Khiam detention centre.
Further airstrikes hit the outskirts of Qana, the Ras al-Salib area, and the Batem mountains, with one particularly intense attack between Ramadiyeh and Siddiqin in the Tyre district. Israeli jets also struck the Rashidiyeh refugee camp and Mansouri. In the village of Srifa, three people were killed during an airstrike.
Moreover, Israeli forces have been demolishing homes and planting explosives near Aita al-Shaab, on the border with occupied Palestine. In Nabatiyeh, two waves of airstrikes hit Ansar, Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh, Yohmor al-Shaqif, and Arnoun.
The historic al-Bayyad Mosque in Nabatieh was completely destroyed in an airstrike, and additional targets included Kfar Remman and Housh Sayyed Ali. In northern Lebanon, Israeli raids resulted in casualties in Ain Yaaqoub, with 28 people killed or wounded.
