Massive strike on Zaporizhzhia: casualties and injuries reported
Two people were killed and nine others injured as a result of Russian attacks on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts, Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, said on Telegram.
Dozens of settlements across the region came under fire, with extensive damage reported to civilian infrastructure, Caliber.Az reports.
Russian forces carried out a total of 682 strikes on 24 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past day.
Russian troops conducted eight air strikes on populated areas. In addition, they used 409 unmanned aerial vehicles, mostly FPV drones.
Four attacks using multiple launch rocket systems were also recorded, along with 261 artillery strikes.
Over the past 24 hours, authorities received 42 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and administrative facilities.
