Mi-8 helicopter crashes in Russia, killing 4

A Russian Mi-8 helicopter with passengers on board crashed in the Altai Republic, hitting a power line, killing four people.

"During the landing approach in the settlement of Tyungur in the Ust-Koksinsky district, the Mi-8 helicopter of the Altai aviation company hit electric wires, fell, and caught fire. There were 13 people on board - four of them died on the spot, another nine were injured," TASS quotes a source in the unnamed medical services as saying.

It is specified that three people are in serious condition.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia confirmed the crash of the helicopter, saying that firefighters are working at the scene.
