Military parade, band performance held in Azerbaijan's Khankendi PHOTO

A military band performance and commemorative events were held in Azerbaijan's city of Khankendi on June 26 to mark Armed Forces Day.

The celebrations took place at Victory Park, where the Ministry of Defence's military band performed the "Victory March." Residents gathered to watch the performance and applauded as the band marched through the park, Caliber.Az reports via local media. 

The event was organised by the Service for Reconstruction, Construction and Management in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts. Officials said the celebrations were intended to promote patriotism and honour Azerbaijan's armed forces.

A military parade was also held in Khankendi as part of the Armed Forces Day commemorations.
