Ministry: Martyrs’ families to be involved in social support programmes in Azerbaijan
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population has said that the government will always pay attention and care about the families of Azerbaijani servicemen who became martyrs while preventing a large-scale military provocation committed by the Armenian armed forces.
All measures of social support will be taken for these families upon Azerbaijani President, victorious Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, the ministry told Trend on September 14.
The representatives of the ministry are visiting the families of servicemen who became martyrs and are taking measures of social support.
The local departments of the ministry will also render the necessary support to the families while preparing the documents.
The families of the dead servicemen will be provided with insurance payments and monthly social payments (monthly presidential pension, allowance, pension).
At the same time, the work will be carried out to provide the families of servicemen who have become martyrs with apartments and private houses, and to attract family members to active employment programmes.
A number of other benefits will also be given. During the meetings, family members of martyrs are informed about their rights and benefits.
