Moscow explains itself to Beijing over damage to Chinese Consulate General in Odesa

The Russian Foreign Ministry has given all necessary explanations to the Chinese embassy in Moscow in connection with the damage to the consulate general in Odesa caused by the explosion.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that close cooperation between Moscow and Beijing on all relevant issues continues, Kommersant reports.

On July 21, the Chinese Foreign Ministry reported that the shock wave from the explosion demolished part of the walls and broke windows in the Consulate General of China in Odesa. No one was injured. The cause of the explosion was not named.
