Nakhchivan to host Turkic Business Forum next year
The Turkic Business Forum is set to take place in Nakhchivan next year, as announced by Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Chairman of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye.
He made the remarks at the General Assembly of the Union of Turkic Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Baku, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Hisarcıklıoğlu revealed that the forum had initially been scheduled for October 3, but it had to be postponed due to another significant event – the 15th anniversary of the Organization of Turkic States.
The chairman assured that the event would be rescheduled for next year in Nakhchivan, a move expected to further strengthen economic ties between the Turkic nations.
In addition to the business forum, Hisarcıklıoğlu hinted at the possibility of holding a dedicated event focusing on the Zangezur Corridor, a key infrastructure project that connects Azerbaijan with its exclave, Nakhchivan.
