New website featuring Armenian vandalism against Azerbaijani cultural heritage to come online
Azerbaijan has created a website highlighting acts of vandalism committed by Armenia against Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage.
The heritage.gov.az website, which is presently under construction, will bring to the world audience the real state of historical and cultural monuments in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from the decades-long Armenian occupation in 2020, Report informs.
The website was prepared by the State Service for the Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, operating under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Culture.
The purpose of creating the website is to demonstrate on open Internet resources the facts of vandalism, appropriation, and destruction committed by Armenia against samples of Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage during the period of occupation from 1991 to 2020.
The presentation of the website is scheduled for July 7.
