NGO Head: Armenians shot 27 residents during occupation of Bashlibel village
Khalid Kazimov, Chairman of the Regional Centre for Human Rights and Media NGO has said Armenian bandits shot 27 residents during the occupation of Kalbajar's Bashlibel village.
He made the statement at the presentation of the report on massacres in Bashlibel prepared by the organisation, Report informs.
According to him, the document was prepared within the framework of the project “Preparation of a report for international organizations on war crimes committed by Armenia in Bashlibel”, carried out with the support of the Agency for State Support of Non-Governmental Organizations.
“During the occupation of Bashlibel, Armenian bandits shot 27 residents. The bodies of 13 people have still not been found,”
Kazimov noted that the crimes of Armenians against the Azerbaijani people were reflected in the book "Bashlibel Tragedy: Eyewitness Testimonies of Armenian Atrocities", which was published by the NGO in 2013 in Azerbaijani and English languages.
Azerbaijan identified a burial place of civilians killed by the Armenian armed forces in Kalbajar region's Bashlibel village during the First Garabagh War in the early 1990s.
On April 18, 1993, the Armenian armed forces equipped with automatic and large-calibre weapons began firing on caves where helpless civilians were hiding.
