Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons delegates perform prayer in Zangilan mosque PHOTO / UPDATED
As part of their visit to the liberated city of Zangilan, participants of the international conference on missing persons performed namaz at a mosque constructed following the city’s liberation.
The trip to Zangilan is part of a broader program for conference participants to explore territories recently freed from occupation, allowing them to witness firsthand the restoration efforts and the conditions created for returning communities, local media notes.
The conference continues to emphasise cooperation and dialogue aimed at addressing the challenges related to missing persons in the region.

Participants of the international conference titled “Joining Efforts and Expanding Cooperation to Solve the Problem of Missing Persons”, held as part of the Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons, have begun their visit to Zangilan.
According to domestic media, as part of the trip to the territories liberated from occupation, the conference participants arrived in Zangilan District, where they visited the Victory Monument located in the restored village of Aghali.
During the visit, the delegates familiarised themselves with the conditions established for the return of residents to the villages of Aghali and Mammadbayli in Zangilan District.
The program also includes visits to the mosque and the Congress Centre in the city of Zangilan, where participants will review the restoration and reconstruction efforts implemented there.
