Polish Foreign Minister considers Trump's statements on NATO a threat

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski has said that the statements of former US President Donald Trump on the financing and functioning of NATO pose a threat to the alliance.

The Polish FM made a post on his Facebook page on February 15, Izvestia reports.

He recalled that at one of the pre-election events Trump said that he would encourage aggression against NATO countries if they did not fulfill their financial obligations to the military-political bloc.

"Even if Donald Trump only wants to scare 'allies' into spending more on weapons, such threats are being heard around the world, including in Beijing and Moscow,” Sikorski posted.
