President Aliyev approves agreement on establishment of Azerbaijani-Uzbek investment company

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on approval of the agreement between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan "On the establishment of Azerbaijani-Uzbek investment company in the form of a limited liability company in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan".

Caliber.Az reports that the information about it was posted on the official website of the head of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The agreement was signed on July 18, 2023, in the city of Shusha.

Establishing the joint investment fund is expected to generate additional incentives to strengthen cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the areas of auto manufacturing, the textile industry, sericulture, and the transportation industry.
