President Aliyev: Italy always supports Azerbaijan's efforts on closer cooperation with NATO

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has said that Italy has always supported Azerbaijan's efforts to establish closer cooperation with NATO.

“We are actively cooperating within the partnership between the European Union and Azerbaijan. Italy has always firmly supported Azerbaijan's rapprochement with the European Union,” the Azerbaijani president said in an interview with a correspondent of the Italian Il Sole 24 Ore newspaper Roberto Bongiorni, Report informs.
