President Japarov: Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan ties reach unprecedented level
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov has said that the interstate relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have recently reached an unprecedented level.
President Japarov made these remarks during negotiations with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku, Report informs citing the Kyrgyz media.
Japarov reminded that during President Aliyev’s state visit to Kyrgyzstan in October 2022, the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan Development Fund was established. The work is underway to finalise organizational, legal and financial issues.
In this context, the Kyrgyz president offered the competent bodies to accelerate the fund’s activity and begin implementing projects in which both sides are interested.
During the negotiations, the leaders of the two countries confirmed their mutual desire to strengthen and expand the strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
