Azerbaijani parliament speaker arrives in Ethiopia on official visit

Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis (parliament), Sahiba Gafarova, has arrived in Addis Ababa on an official visit, Ethiopia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

At Addis Ababa International Airport, Gafarova was welcomed by Lomi Bedo, Deputy Speaker of the House of People's Representatives, and State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye, Caliber.Az reports.

During the visit, Gafarova is expected to hold meetings and talks with senior Ethiopian officials.

The sides are set to discuss ways to further strengthen bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia, as well as prospects for expanding cooperation across various fields.
