Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry congratulates Morocco on National Day

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulated Morocco on its national holiday, according to a post by the ministry on X.

“Warm congratulations and best wishes to friendly Morocco and its people on National Day!

Happy National Day, Morocco!” the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in its post.

Azerbaijan and Morocco established diplomatic relations on August 28, 1992, after Morocco recognised Azerbaijan’s independence on December 30, 1991. 

Over the years, Azerbaijan and Morocco have expanded cooperation in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas, with both sides supporting each other within multilateral platforms such as the Non-Aligned Movement and the OIC. Embassies in Baku and Rabat, as well as regular political consultations, have contributed to the development of bilateral relations.
